Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
ISAIAH 40:30-31
 
Isaiah 40:31, though quoted often, I'd never thought about. Merely glossing over the scripture, I believed that this verse could only apply to huge moments.
 
For example in  Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King eagles' wings, if you will, help to rescue Middle Earth from annihilation by dark forces. It's an epic battle of eagles against nazgul and other Tolkien creatures: savage! 


In the appearance of the eagles, warriors regain hope and strength.

Today, while making a presentation, I believe the Holy Spirit, helped me to see that 
in  EVERY victorious waiting for the Lord it's as if,  God's people: by faith 

–receive God’s strength to continue to stand for or against what our struggle requires; and, we

–take eagle’s wings, as it were, gaining victory over the epic struggle of everyday life.

This is not only true for the so-called big tests and trials but for any and every thing for which you wait on God. He gives victory.

YOU ARE VICTORIOUS!!

God’s victory for you is like the Lord of the Rings eagles pulling up, to fight for you.

When we wait for God, patiently trusting His pace and place for us we receive His deliverance: the majestic eagles’ wings along with renewed strength to continue to joyfully believe and know that God is near.

By faith and patience, receive your wings! In Jesus’ name,
